Over the past 50 years, increasing meat demand has led to larger livestock populations, intensifying environmental, health, and animal welfare challenges. Precision livestock farming (PLF) technologies have emerged as a potential solution, enhancing efficiency while reducing environmental impact and promoting animal welfare. However, adoption barriers, ethical concerns, and regulatory challenges remain. The study highlights the need for further research and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure the ethical and effective implementation of PLF technologies.
